Hello
For our next ride on 09-09-09 Yes it's a Wednesday. I plan on going to the Ames Brothers Pyramid The odds are remote that you'll ever visit a solitary ruin left by unknown entities on an abandoned planet. But the Ames Brothers Pyramid? It's the next best thing, in Buford, Wyoming. http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/2259
Ames Monument marked the highest point on the transcontinental railroad at 8,247 feet (2,514 m)[3] However, Union Pacific Railroad Company twice relocated the tracks further south, causing the town of Sherman that arose near the monument to become a ghost town.
The structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is maintained as a Wyoming state historic site.
This is a leisure ride and following the speed limits.
We don't care what you ride as long as you are safe, wear safety gear, and enjoy a good lunch.
We will postpone the ride if the chance of rain for the area is 30% or more.
